Biogen, Inc. (NASDAQ/BGEN) today announced that Frank A. Burke, Jr., has been appointed Executive Vice President, Human Resources. Mr. Burke reports to James C. Mullen, President and Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Burke joined Biogen in 1986 after a 12-year career with Allied Signal Corporation. He has supervised the global human resources function throughout Biogen’s growth from a boutique research organization into a multi-product global biopharmaceutical company.
Mr. Mullen said, “Frank Burke is an outstanding professional who has devoted much of his career to building Biogen. He continues to meet the considerable challenges of managing the human resources aspects of a dynamic and rapidly growing organization and will play a key role in the ongoing evolution of our company.”
