Description
Designs, specifies and installs new equipment and provides engineering technical support and troubleshooting for all L&P, Laboratory and processing equipment. Develops validation protocols, oversees validation testing and drafts final reports. Provides project engineering as required for new processing equipment installations and modifications to existing equipment by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
a. Provides improvement solutions for existing equipment and implements these.
b. Develops and supports equipment life cycle including validation.
c. Writes procedures, validation protocols and support documentation.
d. Identifies and leads equipment related projects.
e. Provides direct support to manufacturing and or co-workers if needed.
f. Maintains training, develops goals and tracks progress.
Qualifications
a. Practical knowledge and application of GMP and EMEA regulations.
b. Five years experience in pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing environment
c. Competency in Lotus Notes, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, ACAD and MS Project.
d. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
e. Ability to work rotating shifts, extended shifts and weekends as needed.
Education
An Associate of Arts Degree with more than 9 years related industry experience or a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years related industry experience or an MBA/MS with a minimum of 3 years related industry experience.
