Description

Primary user of the Capital system. Drive continuous improvement initiatives as the primary customer and internal customer representative.

Manage Annual Capital Budgeting Process. Support the user groups in developing scope, budget estimate and justifications. Interface with Business Planning, Accounting and Fixed Asset departments during planning process and maintaining capital status through year. Actively provide review and oversight on financial reporting. Alert Senior Management, Directors and project managers of issues and concerns.

Support the use and development of Capital Project Guidelines, Procedures and Forms. Actively participate in continuous improvement efforts and provide training on systems. Audit Projects/Sites for compliance with Capital Project Guidelines and Procedures.

Assist Project Manager’s with Capital Projects as necessary – providing support in Project Accounting, Project Controls, etc. Provide support in funding requests and justifications.

Qualifications

Strong Interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to interface with entry-level engineers to Senior Management.

Could be required to travel up to 50% – domestically and internationally.

Minimum of 8-10 Years of Capital Projects Experience. Specializing in planning, project controls and a broad range of project experiences – manufacturing, facilities, utilites, lab, admin and site projects.

BioPharma background preferred.

Engineering/Operational experience a plus.

Must have a solid understanding of Financial systems – Oracle preferred.

Substantial Microsoft Excel, Project and PowerPoint experience required. Primavera and Suretrack experience a plus.

Education

BS Eng or equivalent – Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering
