Associate II, Chemistry

Description

Responsibilities include analytical chemical analyses of protein drug substances and drug products utilizing a variety of analytical techniques. A qualified applicant will possess experience with: gel electrophoresis, spectrophotometry and HPLC (reverse phase, SEC and IEC separations; utilizing fluorescence and UV detection). All testing is conducted testing under cGMP’s and according to established SOP’s, compendial methods, and protocols. This position will also support laboratory method development / validation activities and perform general laboratory duties as required. Theoretical knowledge of protein separation and analytical troubleshooting skills are essential for a strong candidate. Previous experience in a cGMP / cGLP laboratory is required. A BS degree in Chemistry / Biochemistry is preferred.

Qualifications

4+ years experience in a cGMP/cGLP laboratory environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.

Education

Bachelor of Science: Chemistry / Biochemistry (preferred), Biology, other Life Sciences.
